India has nearly 4000 engineering colleges that provides technical education. One of the highest research based organisation known as GHRDC (Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC), has surveyed the topmost engineering colleges of India.

The method that GHRDC adopts contains all the important parameters of an engineering college. Infrastructure, faculty, research & consultancy, placement and academic programmes are such important factors to rate any engineering college.

The GHRDC has assigned a total of 460 points to each college and according to it they have listed top colleges. Here is a list of top 20 engineering college based on the placement record.
